Elementary Tuesday With The Dollies!

Supplies:
Ribbon: Bazzill, Dritz, Offray, Scarlet Lime
Bridal Satin Blossoms: Precocious Paper
Butterflies: Darice
Leaves, Pearls, Flower Center: Prima
White Adhesive Dots: Pebbles
Photo Frame: Candy Shoppe Designs Pop Rocks Kit

I created this flower frame for this week's Elements Challenge for the Design Dollies. I thought it would be nice to decorate my scrappy space with some flowers that would not be in any danger from my black thumb, LOL.

This week's Ribbon Extravaganza asks you to be creative in your use of ribbons -- at least two different kinds/colors/patterns -- in your project of choice. An added bonus entry will be given to any player who uses ribbons to create something unexpected! Please link up your creation by midnight on Monday July 5th for a chance at winning the June prize, and do please mention this challenge in your post!! Happy scrapping! :)

The Lolliopop Girls want you to forget about all the other challenges to enter your creations in for a bit and create something that YOU want to create, with no rules except your own. DO NOT seek out other challenges to try to fit your creation in somewhere.....let this one be just for YOU!

The Sand Box

I created this sand box for this week's Design Dollies Elements Challenge. To begin thinking about those gorgeous sunny, summery, beachy days ahead we needed to create a predominantly SANDY project in honor of upcoming relaxing days! I used a photo cube that has been part of my stash forever and my favorite free embellies, sand and shells! Please upload your sandy projects by midnight on Monday, June 21st in order to be included in this month's Elements Prize draw. Happy scrapping!

How Do I Love Thee?

I created this layout for a Journaling Challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. I love this photo of Scarlett! She looks like such a sweet little angel. I was inspired by Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Sonnet #43. How do I love thee? With the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life.

Scrap Attack Scrapbooking June Reveal!

I had a wonderful time working with my design kit from Scrap Attack Scrapbooking this month! I was so pleased to design with the Hello Sunshine line by Lily Bee and the Socialite line by Paper Trunk. These lines coordinate beautifully. They share several bold colors and the black from the Paper Trunk line really helps the bright colors of the Lily Bee line POP. I love to mix paper lines like these because I can use up some of my older stash and stretch the life of my new line. For a list of products used on each layout, please see my gallery in the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Online Store.

What's Cookin'?

Supplies:
Paper: Graphic 45, Sassafras
Flowers: Prima
I created this page for this week's Sketch Challenge at Design Dollies. I don't know anything about these women except for they were all on my husband's side of the family. They look like a TON of fun and I would have loved to spend some time in the kitchen with them. Aren't those aprons just fabulous? The Dollies would LOVE to see what you can do with this week's sketch. You have until June 16 at midnight EST to link up your sketch creation (new projects, please!) or June 13th at midnight EST to get in on the Trifecta. Thanks for playing along with the Dollies!

Hugs

I created this page for Challenge #2 at Snobby Walrus. This is a super fun recipe challenge and my layout need to have buttons, a handmade embellishment (thanks Lynnette!), polka dot patterned paper, journaling and a color photo. I've had this picture of John with his Gran printed for years and finally found the perfect kit to scrap this photo. The journaling reads; Grandmas hold our tiny hands for just a little while, but out hearts forever.

I created this layout for this month's Scrapbook Play Challenge at Scrap Attack Scrapbooking. Who says there are rules in scrapbooking? The Scrapbook Play Challenges at SAS will help you “cut loose” and open your eyes to all the rules you follow, consciously or not. When you see the edges of your scrapbook paper, it's easy to perceive them as boundaries. For this month's challenge we're going over the edge, asking members to create a page where elements extend off the edge of the page! If you like to break the rules, these challenges are for you. Thanks for playing along!
