Everyday

Supplies:
Note Cards: Pink Paislee
Doily: Hallmark
Epoxy Sticker: Colorbok
Ribbon: Pink Paislee
Other: Bingo Card, Twine

I had so much fun creating the card I posted on Tuesday for the Bingo Card Call at Scrapbook News and Review Magazine, that I made two cards! Again, I decided to add embellishments right on top of my Bingo card and had a lot of fun using some odds and ends from my stash and mixing my older supplies with some new items.

I just couldn't wait any longer to create with these Wobblers from Kanban Crafts! Almost too cute for words the Wobblers collection features an adorable cast of characters that you assemble and turn into cards that really rock! Give any holiday project the wow factor, from 3D scrapbook pages to festive Wobbles for the mantlepiece. My girls loved these Wobblers and are ready for Christmas NOW!  Unlike my girls, you don't have to wait to start creating with these festive kits.  Join Kanban Crafts on Monday September 26th at 9:00am EST for the one and only airing of the Christmas Wobblers kit on HSN! The kit contains 20 Wobblers perfect for the holiday season. You'll want to get this quick at the special event price!  Learn more details HERE.

The Wobblers are easy and fun to assemble, just like the other Kanban Crafts die-cut sets.  With a little 3D foam, these Wobblers really come to life!  I love all the layers and each design also includes foiled accents and/or glitter!

If

Supplies:
Paper: Pink Paislee
Letters: Jillibean Soup
Stickers: Pink Paislee
Packaging: Pink Paislee
Flower: Prima
Butterfly: Pink Paislee
Ribbon: Basic Grey
Tag: Avery
 Stamps: Studio G
 Ink: Ranger
 Pen: Sharpie

I created this layout for Scrapbook News and Review Magazine's One Word Title call. Each issue of SNR Magazine has a different One Word Title call and the word for August was "If." I was thrilled when I was looking through my vacation photos and found this series of pictures of my youngest daughter learning how to do a somersault. She was trying so hard and finally did one all by herself.

If you would like to submit your layouts for a real chance at being published, you have until September 30th to meet the deadline for the October/November double issue. Because this issue will be double the size, there are two opportunities to submit layouts for the One Word Title call! The words for the October/November double issue are "Miracle" and "Strong." You can view all the calls for the last issue of 2011 HERE.

If I Thought She Would Listen

Supplies:
Paper: Dream Street
Rub-on: Daisy D's
Ric Rac: Prima
Pen: Sharpie
Other: Twine

I created this layout for the current challenge at Scrap It With A Song. Coldplay's "Fix You" is on the playlist and it is such a perfect song for this page about my youngest daughter.  I used some of the song lyrics for my journaling; "If you never try you'll never know just what you're worth."  Scarlett is now 3 and is going to preschool.  She has a lot of big girl responsibilities and she wants to give up some of the time.  If only she would listen to me when I tell her she can do more than she knows if only she would try!

You have until the end of the month to get your entry in and the prize up for grabs is an awesome assortment of ribbon, flowers and other embellishments sponsored by Scrap it With a Song!

Haunted Votives - Reminisce Home Decor Challenge

Supplies:
Paper: Reminisce
Cardstock Stickers: Reminisce
Flower: Petaloo
Punch: Marvy
Votive Candles: Pier 1
Other: Lace, Trim, Twine

I made this set of haunted votive candles for the Reminisce Home Decor Challenge. I don't have many Halloween decorations so I thought it would be fun to make some small pieces for my home.  I've had this purple lace in my stash for some time and I've been saving it for a special project.  The Reminisce Witch's Brew stickers are the perfect size for my votive holders and are cut from sturdy cardstock so I know my decorations will last.  These candles look so pretty when lit.  I just love how the light shines through the lace!

You have until Monday, September 26th to play along. One creative participant will win a Reminisce prize pack and have their image featured on the blog! Wouldn't that be a treat?!

Just For You - Kanban Crafts

Kanban Supplies:
Coffee Shop Paper Craft Toppers - PCT9904
Other Supplies:
Ribbon: Adornit
Miscellaneous: Button, Twine

Kanban Crafts has several coffee themed design kits.  These kits have the foiled accents that I love as well as convenient die-cuts and several different sentiments that make gift giving fast and easy to personalize for that special someone.  I recently purchased a Starbucks gift card for a fellow coffee lover.  This card is perfect, but I also wanted to dress up the gift card holder to give it a more personal touch.

Here is a before photo of my gift card holder.

Here is my new gift card holder.  I used the Starbucks gift card holder as a template and traced, cut and folded a new card holder out of Kanban Crafts cardstock.  The coffee themed die-cuts made embellishing this card holder fast and easy. Talk about an improvement!

Kanban Supplies:
Bella Mochaccino - Toffee - PCT9974
Bella Coffee Shoppe Delights - Mocha - PCT9964
3D Foam - FOAM3

Other Supplies:
Ribbon: Little Yellow Bicycle
Miscellaneous: Twine

Hello Pretty

Supplies:
Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Letter Stickers: Cosmo Cricket
Ribbon: Ribbon Boutique
Butterfly: Pink Paislee
Mist: Tattered Angels
Ink, Multi-Medium: Ranger
Other: Doily, Twine

I created this layout for the September Challenge at Scrap Jacked.  I used Julie's Happy Birthday card as my inspiration piece.  I loved the orange and green color combo and Julie's card also included twine, butterflies and flowers, some of my favorite embellishments!

The cutie in the photos is my new niece Avalynn.  I love her ruffled onesie and the colorful bow in her hair.  Cosmo Cricket's Clementine collection was the perfect match for these pictures.  Thanks for stopping by!

Bookmark & Card Gift Set - Kanban Crafts

Kanban Supplies:
Agriturismo Paper Craft Toppers - PCT1259
3D Foam Pads - FOAM3

I made this bookmark and card for a friend.  This set came together so easily with the help of Kanban's layered die-cuts and 3D foam pads.  I love the rich oranges and reds in this design, so perfect for the fall season.

This card has four layers and I love the effect!  It almost feels like you can step into this card and walk among the flowers.

Like most of the Kanban designs, this set has the gold foil accents that I love, giving this bookmark an elegant touch.

3D Foam Pads - FOAM3

Other Supplies:

"Journey"
Kanban Crafts Supplies:
Vintage Compass - Cream - CRD1439

3D Foam Pads - FOAM3

Other Supplies:
Paper: Graphic 45
Glimmer Screen: Tattered Angels
Mist: Tattered Angels
Ink: Ranger
Other: Book Page, Twine

Ahoy!  I love this nautical themed card set from Kanban Crafts!  The card set also includes two more die-cut images and a sentiment that are not shown above.  Both my father and father-in-law love to sail and these cards would be perfect for them.  These die-cuts have a foiled edge that is present on most Kanban designs, but it doesn't take away from the masculine feel of the papers.
