What a Hoot! - Moxxie

Hi! I'm sharing a layout that I created with the NEW Forever Fall Collection from Moxxie. The mix of patterns and colors in this line is perfect for documenting Autumn activities, like the excitement of jumping into a giant tub of corn! I had a blast putting this page together and I'm very happy with the selection of coordinating stickers and rub-ons that are available.

My favorite sticker is this sweet deer. I dressed her up a little with some colored twine and a pearl eye. I added a tree and some leaves to create a small woodland scene.

This owl is another favorite of mine. He appears in several Moxxie collections and I'm always happy to see him! I added some pearl eyes here as well.

I used a rub-on for the title of this page. Isn't this font fun!? I accented the title spot with a bundle of leaf stickers that I tied together with colored twine.

Here's a look at the Forever Fall Collection:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! We'd love to see what you're creating with Moxxie products, so stop by the facebook page and share your work. If you can't find this collection at your local scrapbook store, you can pick it up at Scrapbook.com.

Overjoyed - Quick Quotes

Hi! I'm sharing a layout for Quick Quotes today that I created with patterned papers and embellishments from 3 different Club Q Kits; February, May and August. I have patterned papers from 5 different Quick Quotes collections on this page! As soon as I saw the gingham and star patterned papers included in the August Club Q Kit, I immediately thought "baby layout!" I incorporated two darker shades of blue and grey patterned papers and adapted some summer and beach themed die-cuts and chipboard pieces to work for my new baby themed page.

I love the Club Q kits for several reasons, but one of my favorite features are all the die-cut papers. I always save the paper that is left over after I punch out the die-cuts. I used the negative from a decorative piece of cardstock to frame this page. I inked the inside edge with Amaretto PowderPuff Chalking Ink.

The chipboard piece that I tucked under my center block of pattered paper is actually a wave patterned piece that was part of the May Club Q Layout Kit. I covered most of the design, creating a fun scalloped border.

This layered banner started with the white pennant die-cuts from the August Club Q Layout Kit. They were designed to spell "Summer" and each pennant piece sports a die-cut letter and flower. I simply covered the flowers and letters with patterned paper that I inked with Amaretto and Blue Hawaiian PowderPuff Chalking Ink and added my own letters on top.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to mix more than one Quick Quotes collection together for a fun new look!

Fall Tag Books - Paper Wings Productions

Hi! I'm sharing a set of tag books that I created with the September Nesting Components Mixed Media Kit for Paper Wings Productions today. The larger images from the Clip Art Sheet fit perfectly onto the tags from the kit and made pretty, colorful covers for my books.

I added a stamped banner to the top of each book with the Banner Day Clear Stamp Set and the Hanging Stars Clear Stamp Set.

I added a small cluster of flowers and leaves to each tag. I tied the books together with a piece of multicolored seam binding.

I cut the pages for my tag books from manilla cardstock, that I aged with a wash made from Walnut Ink Crystals. I stamped the bottom of each page with an image from the Owl Panel Clear Stamp Set.

I added both color and texture to both the front and back covers of my books. I melted a layer of Fusible Webbing to each tag. I then added color with Golden Pumpkin Blush and Madonna Blue Robe Embossing Powders. I added another layer of shimmery color with a peach colored mist.

If you would like to pick up one or more of the stamp sets I used on this piece, or any of the other fantastic designs offered by Paper Wings Productions, you can use Coupon Code PWP*FAN2 to save 25% off your total purchase before shipping! Love Awaits Arch - Creative Inspirations Paint + Tando Creative

I'm sharing an arch that I created for Tando Creative and Creative Inspirations Paint today. The theme on the Tando Challenge Blog this month is "Let's Leaf It!" Tando has several fantastic leaf designs. I used two pieces from the Set of 4 Tall Leaves, which I painted with Emerald and Evergreen Creative Inspirations paint, and a Leaves Mask with Distress Ink for the background of this Arabian Style Layered Arch Frame. I painted the frame of the arch with Copper CI paint. I painted a Mini Butterfly with Sunshine CI paint.

I added vine rub-ons and this message to the flower petals to finish the piece.

Up for grabs this month are 4 pieces of Tando chipboard of your choice!  All you have to do is create a piece incorporating the monthly theme and link to the Tando Creative Challenge Blog. You don't have to use Tando products, but, if you do you'll be entered into the draw twice, doubling your chances to win. We don't have many rules, as rules spoil the fun, but in order to be in with a chance of winning we do ask that your project is entered for a maximum of 5 challenges, including Tando.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Merci Beaucoup Card - Couture Creations

Hi! I'm sharing a fall themed card for Couture Creations today. I recently bought some felt and have been having a lot of fun creating felt flowers! This felt flower comes together fast with the help of the Daisy Nesting Dies and some hot glue, but let's start by assembling the card.

Step One: Emboss a piece of patterned paper with the Exotic Embossing Folder from the Couture Creations Fine Designs Collection. Lightly ink over the embossed pattern to highlight the design and adhere the paper to a cardstock card base.

Step Two: Cut a piece of orange cardstock with the Fleur-De Frame Nesting Die. Place the die over the cut piece of cardstock and, using a Sponge Dauber and the die as a mask, add ink to the open spaces of the die. Adhere the cardstock frame to the center of the card with Double-Sided Tape. Add two feathers to the top of the Fleur-De Frame.

Step Three: Cut a piece of double-sided patterned paper with the Ivy Doily Die Set and adhere the doilies, one of each pattern, to a strip of kraft paper and then to the card over the center of the Fleur-De Frame.

Step Four: Stamp a sentiment onto a piece of blue patterned paper and add three Vintage Gold Self Adhesive Gemstones. Adhere the sentiment strip to the center of the larger Ivy Doily with Double-Sided Tape.

Step Five: Emboss a piece of green cardstock with the Turkish Delight Embossing Folder (Fine Designs Collection). Using Sharp Point Scissors, cut two leaves from the embossed cardstock and adhere them to the card in the center of the two Ivy Doilies with Foam Mounting Tape.

Step Six: Assemble the felt flower and adhere it to the card with Foam Mounting Tape.

Felt Flower Tutorial

Step One: Cut five of the second smallest daisy shape and two of the smallest daisy shape from felt with the Daisy Nesting Dies.

Step Two: Fold one of the larger daisy shapes in half and secure with a dot of hot glue. Repeat for 3 more daisy shapes. The leftover larger daisy shape will be the used for the base of the flower.

Step Three: Fold each of the four flower shapes from Step Two in half again and secure with a dot of hot glue. These four pieces are the larger petals of the flower.

Step Four: Glue the four larger petals to the flower base.

Step Five: Fold and glue the two smaller daisy shapes the same way as the larger daisy shapes. Glue the two smaller petals to the top of the flower.

I adapted this flower design from a felt flower tutorial that I found here.

Hallelujah - Paper Wings Productions

Hi! I'm sharing a card that I created with some of the NEW stamp sets from Paper Wings Productions today.

I started with the Crown Clear Stamp Set and the Keys and Arrows Clear Stamp Set. I made my own molds from these stamp sets and then filled them with Creative Inspirations Paint UV Resin.

This is what I ended up with! These resin embellishments are the perfect size for use on ATCs, cards and tags, or tucked into embellishment clusters on layouts.

My inspiration for this card was the Jeff Buckley version of the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.

I heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips, she drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Baby, I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor
You know, I used to live alone before, I knew you
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
And Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Well, there was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But you never show that to me now, do you?
But remember, when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath, we drew was Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Maybe there's a God above
But, all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you?
And it's not a cry, that you hear at night
It's not somebody, who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Happy Hauntings ATC - Creative Inspirations Paint

Hi! I'm sharing an ATC for Creative Inspirations Paint. I used some of my favorite "scary" stamps on a piece of cream colored cardstock. I applied Raw Sienna, Tan, Evergreen and Rose Quartz CI paint to my stamp block, spritzed it with water and then pressed the color onto my stamped image for a subtle watercolor-like finish.

Save the World - Paper Wings Productions

Hi! I'm sharing another project I created with a NEW stamp set from Paper Wings Productions today.

I started with the Crown Clear Stamp Set. I made my own mold from this stamp set and then filled it with Creative Inspirations Paint UV Resin.

This is what I ended up with. Also shown in this photo are the resin pieces I created with the NEW Keys and Arrows Clear Stamp Set.

I started this piece with a Blue Fern Studios Shabby Layered Chipboard Frame. I painted the frame with Silks Acrylic Glaze and added a patina effect with Donna Salazar Mix's Media Inx in Patina and Black. I added some red rhinestones to the frame for a pop of color and a touch of royalty.

I stamped directly onto the Blue Fern Chipboard packaging with the Diana Cling Stamp, one of my all time favorites! I used a Banana Gelato to add some color to my image. I added some stamped text using the With Some Sparkle Cling Stamp Set from the last release. I then covered the entire image with several coats of clear embossing powder, placed it in my freezer to chill for a couple of minutes, and then bent the image to create the cracked glass effect for my frame. I finished off this piece with one of my resin crowns that I embellished with rhinestones.

I had a ton of fun putting this piece together! If you would like to pick up one or more of the stamp sets I used on this piece, or any of the other fantastic designs offered by Paper Wings Productions, you can use Coupon Code PWP*FAN2 to save 25% off your total purchase before shipping! Fly - Paper Wings Productions

Hi! I'm sharing a fun piece that I created with some of the NEW stamp sets from Paper Wings Productions today. Once again, I have used the thick piece of cardstock that comes with the Nesting Components Mixed Media Kits as the base of my project. I used the NEW Vintage Lace Clear Stamp with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink to add the pattern to the base of my project. I then added color with an assortment of Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos.

I used the NEW Fairy Magic Clear Stamp Set along with some Distress Markers for the fairy shown here. I stamped the fairy onto a piece of clear packing with StazOn ink and cut out a second set of wings to layer over my colored image. I used the NEW Flower of Life Clear Stamp with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink to add the pattern to the kraft envelope under the fairy.

I used the NEW Fairy Magic Clear Stamp Set to frame the bottle that I filled with Fine Antique Silver Vintage Glass Glitter. I thought this looked a bit like pixie dust! I stamped, cut, colored and layered several shapes from the NEW Sacred Geometry Clear Stamp Set to create flowers.

I framed the corners of my piece with Blue Fern Studios Doodle Corners Chipboard that I colored with Gelatos. I used the With Wings Cling Stamp Set, from the last release, for the text. I added clusters of stars as a finishing touch using the Hanging Stars Clear Stamp Set.

I had a ton of fun putting this piece together! If you would like to pick up one or more of the stamp sets I used on this piece, or any of the other fantastic designs offered by Paper Wings Productions, you can use Coupon Code PWP*FAN2 to save 25% off your total purchase before shipping! You can find all the newest stamp sets HERE!

****************

I also want to mention that I used a Zeus and Zoe Green Embellishment Kit. You can find similar kits HERE. I only used about half of my kit on this piece! The items from the kit include the green doilies, green fabric tape, white flowers, vintage buttons, green ribbon, stick pins, vintage ephemera, handmade fabric flower, vintage postcard, small glass bottle and green mist.

The Chipboard Leaves are manufactured by Tando Creative.

The Toadstools are by Flourish With A Bling. I'm not a part of their team, but I want to say that they have some of the coolest laser cut flourishes and now ship internationally! My piece wouldn't have been the same without their goodies!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
