Wish - C'est Magnifique December Kit

Hi! I'm sharing a layout that I created with the C'est Magnifique December Main Kit, Flower Add-On, Embellishment Add-On and Magnifique Mixed Media Kit. I'm sorry to say that the Bloom Girl Stamp IS NOT included in the kit.

The gorgeous Blue Fern Studio Chipboard Snowflakes are fantastic and were a custom order made by Deonna specifically for the December Embellishment Add-On. This means that the only way to purchase these beautiful snowflakes is by picking up the Embellishment Add-On from the C'est Magnifique Store. To play up the frosty feel of this page I highlighted the snowflakes on the patterned paper with rhinestones and buttons.

To create this dimensional ice queen I stamped the image onto patterned paper using Archival Ink twice. I colored the images with Faber-Castell Stamper's Big Brush Pens and the Nutmeg Silk's Acrylic Glaze from the Magnifique Mixed Media Kit. I layered the two images, slightly offset to enhance the movement of the hair, on top of each other, separating the two pieces of paper with adhesive foam. I topped the girl with a snowflake crown and then added some glitter highlights and a rose to her hair.

If you'd like to see the other layouts I created with these kits, together in one post, please visit the C'est Magnifique Blog. I'd love to have you stop back here on the 30th for the full kit reveal. I may have some more projects to share!

Peace on Earth Canvas - Tando Creative + Susan K. Weckesser

Hi! I'm sharing another festive 3x3 canvas for Tando Creative and Susan K. Weckesser today.

I layered a piece of Round Grid over my colored and stamped canvas. I love the dimension this layer of chipboard adds to my piece! (You can find all the Grid designs in the NEW RELEASES section of the Tando Retail Shop.) I framed my stamped image, which I made using the NEW Susan K. Weckesser World of Christmas Stamp Set, with pieces of a Holly Flourish that I painted, stamped and glittered.

You can pick up the Susan K. Weckesser World of Christmas Stamp Set from Unity Stamp Co.

Winter - C'est Magnifique December Kit

Hi! I'm sharing a layout that I created with the C'est Magnifique December Main Kit, Flower Add-On, Embellishment Add-On and Magnifique Mixed Media Kit. I kept the design of this layout clean and simple. The products in the kits are absolutely gorgeous and can stand on their own just as they are.

The bright red piece of embossed velvet that comes in the Mixed Media Kit is so fun and is a wonderful way to add a vibrant pop of color to a project!

These Petaloo Burlap Poinsettias are so fun!

Naughty or Nice Card - JnW Crafts Guest Designer

Hi! I'm sharing a Christmas card that I created with the JnW Crafts Dress Form Template today. I had so much fun creating my Halloween Dress Form Card that I decided to make a similar version for Christmas.

I cut the dress form from four pieces of patterned paper and layered them on top of each other to create a festive dress. I added lace and ribbon between the layers of patterned paper for a feminine touch. I finished the card with a flower cluster and sentiment.

Painted Burlap Gift Bag - Susan K. Weckesser

Hi! I'm sharing a painted burlap gift bag that I created for Susan K. Weckesser today. The Sing Your Song Stamp Set is one of my favorites and I had a lot of fun using it to upcycle this plain burlap bag. You may be wondering how I stamped onto burlap. Today I'm sharing a very simple process that involves one of my secret crafty weapons...tissue paper!

I inserted a piece of cardboard into the burlap bag before I started painting to prevent the paint and other mediums from bleeding onto the back of the bag. I then used gesso and acrylic paint to brush on a simple sky scape. I stamped the bird and tree pattern onto a piece of white tissue paper using Archival Ink. Next, I carefully cut the excess tissue paper from around the stamped image and applied the pieces onto the bag using gel medium.

Here is what the bag looked like after the tissue paper was sealed to the surface. Note: If you're not in to fussy cutting, you could certainly trim the full piece of tissue paper down to size, glue the larger image onto the bag, and then paint over the entire piece of tissue paper.

Here's a close-up of my painted bag. I filled this bag with bird seed and suet and plan to give this gift to a fellow bird lover. With the ride range of Susan K. Weckesser/Unity stamps, personalizing gift bags for friends is super fun and adds a personal touch that is sure to be appreciated.

Heart + Soul + Dreams - Quick Quotes

Hi! I'm sharing a layout that I created for Quick Quotes today. I combined several collections to create this bold color palette to pair with this photo of my brother and nephew. It matches their bold personalities perfectly!

I cut the quotes for this page from the Serendipity 500 and Sheer Joy 800 patterned papers. I had some leftover die-cut frames from a previous Club Q Kit that I cut into pieces to frame the circle piece of Calypso 100 patterned paper.

I had a lot of fun creating this layered paper embellishment for the corner of the page.

I pulled the patterned papers on this page together with some doodling with a white gel pen.

Frosty - C'est Magnifique December Kit

Hi! I'm sharing a layout that I created with the C'est Magnifique December Main Kit, Flower Add-On, Embellishment Add-On and Magnifique Mixed Media Kit. This layout is very special to me. I used the last Christmas card that my Grandmother sent me before she passed as the focal point for this page. I tucked her handwritten greeting inside the red envelope that I placed behind the image.

I was thrilled to find a fantastic variety of paper in the kits. I've layered resist canvas, sheet music, patterned paper and stickers under my image for a design that is a fun to touch as it is to look at.

I absolutely adore the mix of textured flowers and berries in the kits. I filled out my flower clusters with hand-cut paper snowflakes, mini roses, glittery leaves and twisted bunches of wire.

If you'd like to see the other layouts I created with these kits, together in one post, please visit the C'est Magnifique Blog. I'll be sharing more in-depth posts about each of the layouts I created with these kits over the next week as we lead up to the full kit reveal on the 30th.

Altered Matchbox - Tando Creative

Hi! I'm starting of the Free For All week on the Tando Creative Design Blog with an altered matchbox today. I was inspired to make this piece after seeing some gorgeous matchboxes created by Gio Zara, who has her own line of amazing stencils out with Tando.

I started with a piece of sheet music which I then distressed with ink and wrapped around a matchbox. I layered a piece of lace and a twine bow over the paper. I then covered circle waste from the Round Grid with gesso and glitter and glued them randomly around the box. I topped the box with an embellished Mini Book Plate to finish.

Hi! I'm sharing a birthday layout that I created for my husband for the Berry71Bleu November Early Birthday Year Challenge. He turns 33 today! This photo was taken just minutes after he was born.

You and Me - Zeus and Zoe

Hi! I'm sharing a vibrant, playful layout that I created for Zeus and Zoe today. I decided to take a break from my seasonal crafting and just have fun with some bright flowers and these great photos of my Sister-In-Law and her sweet bulldog.

My Zeus and Zoe Kit was full of vintage postcards, journaling cards and tags that I used to build up some layers on this page.

I stamped, painted and added molding paste through a stencil onto the base of my layout. I separated the layers of a textured bloom and tucked them under and around my photos. I added a vintage button to the flower center.
