I created a canvas mini album with some of my favorite stamp sets and materials. Canvas is a great surface for stamping and absorbing color and I use it often. I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to color two Canvas Corp Rectangle Canvas Shapes. After priming the canvas for maximum color absorption with water, I sprayed the canvas pieces with several colors of mist. While the canvas pieces were still wet, I stacked them and applied pressure to transfer color from one piece of canvas to another. Then I threw these canvas pieces in my clothes dryer to speed up the drying process.
I used the dot border stamp from the Big Textures Cling Stamp Set to add the circles to the cover of this album, and a white paint pen to color in some of the circles. I stamped the word "art" onto the cover by using a portion of the "Follow Your Heart" stamp from the Valentine Wishes Cling Stamp Set. I finished the cover by gluing down a strip of ribbon and a button.
I stamped up these pages using the Bird Mélange and Text Mélange Cling Stamp Sets. I added a small piece of floral ribbon trim. I save most of my ribbon scraps. They are a great accent for small mini albums!
Paper Wings offers a wonderful selection of floral stamps. I used the Mexican Hat Cling Stamp Set to decorate these pages. I colored the stamped flowers with markers. The quote I used is from the Flowers Cling Stamp Set.
I used a stamp from the Sacred Geometry 2 Clear Stamp Set as the base design for a winged charm. The quote is part of the Bird Mélange Cling Stamp Set. I used the Double Dot Border Clear Stamp Set to add the circles on these pages, which I then colored in with a marker.
I finished the back cover of the album with a stamp from the Handmade By Clear Stamp Set. I like to use these stamps on the back of most of my pieces.
I want to mention, especially to my followers who may not be familiar with Paper Wings Productions, most of the stamp sets I used are the larger stamp sets. Many of the stamps from the larger sets are also offered in groups of smaller stamps at a smaller price.
I hope you like my album. It is definitely me.
