It's time for another round of inspiration from the fabulous Scrap Jacked Team! Each month the Scrap Jacked Team will showcase their fabulous creations. We want to see how you are inspired by them! In simple terms,we want to see your Scraplifts! Scraplift ONE DT layout and create either a card, layout or off-the-page project. You can enter as many times as you like using ONE DT layout for inspiration for each entry. Most importantly we would like you to have fun and we hope that we can help keep those creative juices flowing! "Jacks" will be posted on the 5th of every month and are due by midnight on the last day of the month. Winners & grinners will be announced on the 4th of the month. International players are most welcome to play along with us. This challenge is open to everyone all around the world! This is a team effort and winners are judged by the entire Design Team, not by just one individual.  Check out the May inspiration pieces HERE.

My baby girl loves butterflies and bling, just like me!  I thought it would be fun to add some sparkly butterflies to this patterned paper.  I used a Momenta stencil and a light coat of ink to add the butterflies to my page.

I then used the stencil along with mica flake to add some sparkle to the butterfly wings.  Mica flake is one of my new favorite mediums.  It gives the shine of glitter without any of the mess and it's not coming off of this paper any time soon!

Here's what the butterfly looks like once dry.

  1. What a gorgeous layout! Love how you've kept the focus on your daughter but still created your own funky background.
