It may be hard to believe, but this is my first altered bird house. I wanted a nice fall-themed home decor piece and I had a lot of fun altering this bird house. I tried to make this piece unique by incorporating a lot of different textures in a pretty fall color palette.
My daughters found this set of acorns on a walk through the woods and said that I must use them on a project. I think they are a fun addition to this flower cluster!
My favorite part of this bird house is the embossed roof, which started out as a soda can. I carefully cut the top and bottom from the can and ran in through my Cuttlebug in an embossing folder. Once the roof pieces were cut to size and attached to the house, I painted it with my favorite color of Creative Inspirations Paint, Mocha Latte.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Beautiful!! Love the embossed soda can and what a great daughter you have! lol
