I'm sharing a magnetic chalkboard I created for Tando Creative today. I started with The Secret Door Kit from the Works of Parts range. This kit is fabulous and contains a variety of sturdy chipboard pieces that can be put together in a whole host of different ways.
I first painted the large rectangular piece of chipboard with several light coats of magnetic paint. Once I was happy with the strength of the magnetic hold, I added several coats of chalkboard paint. I love the idea of a blank slate for the new year!
I colored the parts of the kit with ink in vibrant colors. I layered several of the pieces and added magnets to the back. The pretty flowers and hearts will decorate my chalkboard when its not in use.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
