Hi! I'm sharing a fun project for the Creative Inspirations Paint Anything Goes Challenge today. Did you know that Creative Inspirations paints work great with stamps? I selected several of my favorite colors of Creative Inspirations Paint, the Dylusions by Dyan Reaveley Background Love Cling Stamp Set from Ranger, and four pendant necklaces, and created this jewelry for my daughter and her friends in less than 30 minutes.
Supplies:
Pendant Necklaces
Creative Inspirations Paint (any shimmery paint will work here i.e. Shimmerz)
Stamps
Paintbrushes
Craft Mat
Heat Tool (optional)
Step 1: Apply several colors of paint to a craft mat using a paintbrush. Place the colors close to each other and blend a bit if desired. Spread the color out with the paintbrush so that there is a thin layer of paint large enough to cover the stamp.
Step 2: Dip a stamp into the pool of color. Stamp onto the necklace base. Set aside to dry, or speed up the process with a heat tool. Clean the paint from the stamps.
Step 3: Place the clear adhesive-backed resin pendant cover over the necklace base. String the pendant onto a chain. Repeat this process for the remaining necklaces.
I love the sparkly finish of these paints!
Creative Inspirations Paint: Sunshine, Mango, Rose Quartz, Plum, Turquoise
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with this week's challenge! Remember you do not need to use CI paints on your projects, but if you have them, we would LOVE to see how you use them! Don't forget about the challenge going on on the facebook page. You can find all the details about how to enter HERE.
I'm also sharing this project for to the DL.ART Thankful Thursday May Anything Goes Linky Challenge! You can check out all the details HERE.

ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhh these are soooooooooo gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteDana, I LOVE these! Question: do you mix the paints with any kind of medium to get them to stay wet longer as you stamp with them, or do you just dip the stamp in them and go? Do you sponge the paints on the stamp? I'm going to try it pronto, but any tips you can give would be most appreciated. They're awesome!
