Love Card - Quick Quotes

Hi! I'm sharing a card that I created for my sweetheart for Valentine's Day for Quick Quotes today. I used the January Club Q Mini Calendar Kit to put this card together. The mix of patterns and colors in the Calendar Kit is so fun! I don't think I would have put red, orange, yellow and teal together on my own, but I love the look! This color palette is perfect for a more masculine card.

I used the mini calendar for February as my focal point. I think the floral heart design is so beautiful! I pulled colors from that design together to make up the layers of my card. I inked all the papers with Biscotti PowderPuff Chalking Ink.

I cut a portion from a vellum quote from the Sentiments Quote Bundle and attached it to a stick to create a fun dimensional embellishment. I added a bright yellow bow to the top of the stick for a fun pop of color.
