I created this layout with the stunning 7 Dots Studio Cold Country Collection. The blues, purples and browns in this line coordinated nicely with the photo I took of my daughters on Easter. They're sisters and best friends.

I built up layers of patterned paper and cardstock for my background. I used a stencil to add a texture paste pattern over those layers. White the texture paste was still wet, I sprinkled it with Glass Glitter and Madonna Blue Robe Embossing Powder. After I dried the paste, I randomly brushed on brown ink that I mixed myself using Walnut Ink Crystals and water.

I used several of my favorite stamp sets, fabric tape and Domino Print Washi Tape to embellish my layout. I added subtle color with Faber-Castell Gelatos.

I made a small embellishment cluster with a stamped burlap tag and some beautiful Gypsy Hand-Dyed Ribbon.

I used Journaling Stamps to add pattern to the background of my page, but also for actual journaling!

Okay, it's time to send you off to the next stop on the hop. Please click over to Erica's Blog.
