Spring Tag - Paper Wings Productions

Hi! I created this Spring themed tag for the Paper Wings Productions May Anything Goes Challenge. I used the gorgeous Vintage Easter Nesting Components Mixed Media Kit for this project. This kit is so soft and beautiful and contains a delightful mix of new and vintage Spring and Easter goodies.

I started with a manila shipping tag and used the Single Dot Border Clear Stamp Set to create the dot pattern. I then used pink, yellow, purple, blue, and orange Gelatos to add color to the dots. I brushed the edges of the tag with a Squid Ink Gelato. I used a wet paint brush to blend the color and help define the edges of the tag. Next, I continued the dot pattern by applying texture paste over a circle stencil on several areas of the tag. I love the double layer of circle patterns.

I had a lot of fun embellishing this tag with the beautiful floral bouquet, sheet music, chipboard and pretty trims from the kit. The hand dyed ribbon can be purchased from the Paper Wings Productions Store. I think this project would make a great gift tag for a Mother's Day present, a Spring birthday, or tied to an Easter basket.
