Let Your Heart Sing - Susan K. Weckesser + Zeus and Zoe

Hi! I found some extra time this month and created this layout based on the August sketch from Once Upon A..Sketch. The journaling theme this month is "The Men in our Lives." I snapped this photo of my sweetheart while on vacation last month. I'm lucky to have have a husband whose many talents include playing guitar and singing. My life has a fabulous soundtrack! Relaxing on the beach in front of a fire is one of my favorite things to do and it's even better with a moonlight serenade.

I salvaged this fabric guitar from one of my daughters old shirts. I tucked a coiled guitar string behind the photos.

I had a lot of fun dressing up this patterned paper with stenciled designs. I mounted my layout on a piece of Core'dinations Tillie Dot Spotted Cardstock for a fun textured frame.

I used The Crafter's Workshop Mini Beaded Curtain and Mini Positive stencils with Faber-Castell Stamper's Big Brush Pens to add colored accents to my background.
