These Are The Days Mini Album - Quick Quotes

Hi! I'm sharing a 3x3 inch album that I created by combining patterned papers from the Simple Elegance and Dream Big collections for Quick Quotes today. I designed this small album using a past Club Q Kicker Project as a guide.

I recently spent some time with family on Lake Huron and this black and white photo of my nephew  is one of my favorites from the trip.  I think the black and white photo, paired with the black and white patterned papers, yields a really sharp look.

Several of the Dream Big patterned papers have colorful prints on one side, which were great for brightening up the pages of this album. I inked the edges of the pages with Caribbean Blue and Midnight Confessions PowderPuff Chalking Ink. I stamped a script pattern onto white cardstock, that I placed on the inside front and back covers, with Feather Gray PowderPuff Chalking Ink, which is perfect for adding a muted design.

I cut and rearranged a vellum quote and attached it directly on top of my photo. I just love how the vellum almost disappears for a very polished, seamless look. I added a square rhinestone brad, from a previous Club Q Kit, to the cover to help hold this album closed.
