This cutie is my Nephew. He isn't much for big smiles, so if you can capture a grin it's a big win! I splattered the background with white ink and then added some glitter flourish stickers that I have had in my stash forever. I then built up layers of patterned papers, die-cuts, and stickers for a photo mat.
I always reach for the burlap embellishments when I'm designing masculine pages, so I added two burlap stars for texture.
Here's the sketch if you want to play along. For more inspiration, visit the Stuck?! Sketches Blog to see what the rest of the designers have created. We have two amazing sponsors for this challenge; Wycinanka and ScrapMuch.
To enter for a chance to win, link your layout up in the right sidebar of the Stuck?! Sketches Blog by January 30th. All prizes winners are selected randomly using
Random.org. When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the
specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole, as it can be hard
later in the month to find your layout. You can also link from any gallery
including Flickr or Facebook,
but we may
not be able to comment. Feel free to combine this sketch with no more than one other non-sketch
challenge. Please include a link back to Stuck?!
Sketches on your blog entry for our
challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today!
