Gecko Galz 6th Annual Blog Hop!

 
Hello and welcome to the Gecko Galz 6th Annual Blog Hop! There are 16 AMAZING blogs for you to visit this weekend, each with some gorgeous projects created using the Gecko Galz Collage Sheets that we are giving away for FREE! The Collage Sheet I used for my projects is the "She is so Lovely," which is available at the bottom of this post.

I made 6 easel fold cards using the "She is so Lovely" Collage Sheet, the Gecko Galz Pocket Full of Posies Digital Paper Pack, the 7 Gypsies Poses and Reflections patterned paper, cardstock, a handful of chipboard stickers, lace tape, and flowers. The design for each card is similar, which makes creating a number of them quick and easy in an assembly line fashion. I used this tutorial as a guide to create my cards.

I also created 2 tags using the two small square images from the collage sheet and a mix of both new and old Gecko Galz digital images and papers in a Fall color palette

For this first tag, I covered a cardstock tag with a piece of Misplaced Words patterned paper from the Nevermore Digital Paper Pack. I then added layers with a crossword puzzle and tickets cut from the Alter Me Digital Collage Set. I covered a paper envelope with a sentiment cut from the Scripted Digital Collage Set.

I matted an image from the She Is So Lovely Digital Collage Sheet and tucked it behind the envelope. To finish, I embellished the tag with paper leaves and flowers, lace, ribbon, and a metal butterfly.

For this second tag, I covered a cardstock tag with a piece of Misplaced Words patterned paper from the Nevermore Digital Paper Pack. I then added layers with images cut from the Alter Me Digital Collage Set and an image from the Darling Dragonflies Digital Collage Set to the tag.

I placed an image from the She Is So Lovely Digital Collage Sheet at the top left corner of the tag. To finish, I embellished the tag with paper leaves and flowers, lace, ribbon, and a chipboard sentiment.
