Hi! I'm sharing a card I created for Clearsnap today. If you haven't seen the latest Stencil and Stamp releases, there are some absolutely fantastic designs. I used the new line of DyeStress Ink to stencil and paint designs for this card.
1. Cut a piece of white cardstock to measure 3x3.75 inches. Lay the second art screen from the Totem Art Screens Trio over the cardstock. Use an art dauber to apply DyeStress ink to the cardstock. Start in the center of the art screen with Citronella ink, then add Salmon ink around the edges of the cardstock.
2. Apply Wicked Black Archival Dye Ink onto the Thinking of You Wood Mount Stamp. Press onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut out.
3. Use a paintbrush to wet the stamped image with water. Apply Scuba DyeStress Ink onto a craft mat and spritz with water. Dip the paintbrush in the pool of ink and apply to the stamped lightbulb. Color the heart in the center of the lightbulb with Siren Smooch. Color the bottom of the lightbulb with Gold Lame Smooch.
Assemble the card.
5. Mat the stamped and stenciled design onto a piece of red polka dot patterned paper that measures 3.25x4 inches.
6. Cut a card base from heart patterned paper to measure 4.25x5.5 inches. Cut a piece of seam binding ribbon to measure 5x5 inches. Attach down the center of the front of the card with double-sided tape. Secure the matted lightbulb design onto the card front with Crafty Foam Tape. Tie a double bow from seam binding ribbon and adhere to the front of the card.
