Stenciled Wood Slice Clock - Clearsnap

Hi! I'm sharing how I created this stenciled wood slice clock for Clearsnap today. I used one of my favorite ColorBox Art Screens Trio Stencil Sets and a Walnut Hollow Basswood Country Plank for this fun décor piece. I selected a vibrant palette of ColorBox Crafter's Ink by Ann Butler, which works great on wood, for stenciling.

Step 1. Trace the outline of a small clock onto a Walnut Hollow Basswood Country Plank. Use a jigsaw to cut a space for the clock from the wood plank

Step 2. Place the first stencil from the ColorBox Totem Art Screens Trio onto the plank. Use an Art Dauber to apply Aquamarine Crafter’s Ink over the screen. Remove the screen and use a heat gun to dry the ink.

Step 3. Place the second stencil from the Totem Art Screens Trio onto the plank. Make sure that the stencil is aligned with the first stenciled design. Use an Art Dauber to apply Limelight and Berry Crafter’s Ink over the screen. Remove the screen and use a heat gun to dry the ink.

Step 4. Place the third stencil from the Totem Art Screens Trio onto the plank. Make sure that the stencil is aligned with the previous stenciled designs. Use an Art Dauber to apply Blueberry and Canyon Crafter’s Ink over the screen. Remove the screen and use a heat gun to dry the ink. Repeat the previous three steps until the wood plank is covered with the stenciled design.

Step 5. Secure the clock into the wood plank.
