Hi! I'm sharing a rainbow shamrock canvas that I created for Clearsnap today. I used stamps in two fun ways. I also colored metal tacks with ColorBox Color Eclipse Mixed Media Ink. I never seem to have a full rainbow of embellishments. This ink solves that problem. I haven't found a surface that it won't cover.
How to Create a Rainbow Shamrock Mixed Media Canvas
Press metal tacks around the edge of a 3x3 canvas.
Use a paintbrush to apply ColorBox Color Eclipse Mixed Media Ink to the tacks in a rainbow of colors from red to purple. Let dry.
Apply ColorBox Irish Archival Dye Ink to the back of the 3x3 Mandala Clover Wood Mount Stamp and press onto a piece of white cardstock.
Glue moss over the stamped image. Cut out.
Apply ColorBox Irish Archival Dye Ink to the back of the 3x3 Lucky Wood Mount Stamp and press onto a piece of white cardstock. Cut out. Glue the letters onto the center of the moss-covered clover.
Glue gold sequin ribbon around the edge of the canvas. Tie a length of rainbow ribbon into a bow. Glue onto the bottom front edge of the canvas.
Glue the shamrock onto the center of the canvas.
