Mason Jar Ring Spring Ribbon Wreath - Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Hi! I'm sharing a colorful mason jar ring wreath that I created for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L today. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring. I'm tired of the drab grey days of Winter. I freshened up my front door décor with this simple farmhouse style wreath made from mason jar rings, ribbon, and double-sided tape. Double-sided tape is my preferred medium to use with ribbon for several reasons. I avoid the mess and drying time of a liquid glue and the ribbon is not discolored from coming into contact with wet adhesive.

How to Create a Farmhouse Style Mason Jar Ring Ribbon Wreath for Spring

Cut 5/8 inch ribbon into pieces to wrap around a mason jar ring. I used 32 wide mouth mason jar rings for this wreath. 11 inch pieces of ribbon were a great length to cover the rings with a slight overlap.

Cut Double-Sided Tape to length and apply to the mason jar rings. I used HomeHobby by 3L Premium Double-Sided Tape on the majority of my rings. My bright green ribbon is only 3/8 inches wide, so I used Crafty Power Tape, which is about half the width of the Premium Double-Sided Tape, for those rings.

Peel off the white liner from the tape and smooth ribbon over the rings. Use a Mini Adhesive Dot to secure the end of each ribbon to the ring.

Repeat until all the rings are covered with ribbon.

String the rings onto a length of twine. Tie the twine in a knot to secure the rings into a wreath shape.

Tie a length of ribbon into a double-loop bow. Embellish the center of the bow with a felt flower and leaf. Use twine to attach the bow to the top of the wreath.
