Stamped Art House Mini Book - Clearsnap

Hi! I'm sharing a wood veneer art house mini album that I stamped and colored for Clearsnap today. I used the NEW ColorBox Blends 2 along with some of my favorite Rollagraph and Wood Mount Stamp designs. The extended drying time of this vibrant pigment-based ink is perfect for blending and embossing techniques. This ink is opaque, which allows for layering of colors. I treated each side of these small wood veneer houses as a mini piece of art to create a mini album that is full of fun designs.

How to Stamp and Color Wood Veneer Pieces with ColorBox Blends 2

Use a paintbrush to apply ColorBox Blends 2 to both sides of wood veneer houses. I used Tutu, Bay, and Leaf Blends 2 on the houses shown above. Sunshine, Melon, and Pansy Blends 2 were applied to the other sides of the houses. Dry the ink with a heat tool.

Apply ColorBox Thunder Pigment Ink onto Rollagraph Design Wheels and 3x3 Wood Mount Stamps. Roll/press the designs onto the houses. Sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder over the stamped images, gently tap away the excess powder, and apply heat to set. Repeat until both sides of each house are stamped and embossed.

Use a paintbrush to apply ColorBox Blends 2 to the stamped designs. Once each house is colored, cover with a coat of clear embossing powder and apply heat to set. I used the 3x3 Peonies Wood Mount Stamp and the Leafy Border and Doll Faces Jumbo Rollagraph Design Wheels on the houses shown above.

I used the Faux Postal Jumbo Rollagraph Design Wheel and the Cupcake and Mended Heart 3x3 Wood Mount Stamps on the houses shown above.

Assemble the mini album and embellish. I added a simple tassel to one of the c rings for a bold pop of color.
