Constellation Scrapbook Layout with 3D Foam Stars - Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Hi! I'm sharing a constellation scrapbook layout that I created for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L today. As the Fall season approaches, and brings with it cooler nights, I like to stay out and gaze at the stars. I'm not very good at finding constellations, but that doesn't keep me from enjoying the view. My husband and two daughters are the brightest stars in my life. I used photos of them, 3D Foam Stars, and Holographic Gold Foil Transfer Sheets, to create my own constellation for this galaxy inspired scrapbook page.

I placed 3D Foam Stars over wallet size photos and trimmed around the edge of the foam. Foam shapes make fast frames. I'm all for saving time and skipping the DIY die-cut step. With adhesive on both sides of these foam shapes, it's super easy and fun to add a sparkly top layer. I chose Holographic Gold Foil to match the foil accents printed on the patterned paper.

In addition to the 3D Foam Stars, I also applied gold-edged star stickers in various sizes to help add depth to the galaxy background. Stickers are the perfect choice for adding thin layers to any design.

I decided to tear, rather than cut, patterned papers for this layout. I like the contrast of the raw edge of the paper and all the sparkly foil.

Lastly, I placed Mini Adhesive Dots randomly around the background and applied holographic gold foil to the tops. This layout really catches the light!
