Floating Wishes Paper Lantern Scrapbook Layout - Clique International

Hi! I'm sharing the layout that I created for the Clique International July Challenge. I was inspired by the color palette of the mood board for this layout and a recent paper lantern launch that I shared with my husband. What better time than now to send a wish out into the universe?

I used patterned paper from the A.B. Studio Over the Rainbow collection. I think the watercolor designs are so beautiful and perfect for a sunset paper lantern launch over a lake! I used a Lindy's Gang Afternoon Delight Denim Magical Shaker to create watercolor splatters over the base of the page. I also used Karin Joan Studio Light Blooming washi tape and Altenew Golden Stream washi tape to add orange and gold strips of color to the base of the page.

I used a Karin Joan die-cut sentiment over a pre-launch lantern photo. Make a wish!

I printed several wallet sized photos of the traveling paper lantern and arranged them vertically up the page. I framed the photos with A. B. Studio die-cut butterflies and a Karin Joan Blooming rub-on.
