Hi! I'm sharing the artist trading card I created for the December More Than Words Mini Challenge. The challenge this month is to use the mini word CHEERS on a card, tag, postcard, or artist trading card. It is hard to think of anything better to celebrate than the end of 2020. I decided to make this card extra special by adding a shaker feature and lots of sparkly gems.
I used patterned paper from the All The Rainbows Paper Pack and a fun sequin and gem mix from Clique International. I lined the edge of the card with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Strips and then topped that with a sheet of acetate. I embossed a Creative Embellishments Chipboard Champagne Glass with gold embossing powder and attached it to the card.
I wrapped the edges of the card with washi tape to cover the adhesive foam. Lastly, I added some letter stickers to spell the word CHEERS!
We'd love to have you join the challenge! Share you work with us via the More Than Words Facebook Page.
I've created an artist trading card for each of the More Than Words Mini Challenges this year and thought it would be fun to make a collage of all my mini art.
