Hi! I'm sharing the artist trading card I created for the More Than Words February Mini Challenge today. The mini word inspiration for this month is ADORE. I immediately thought of the Color Me Badd song "I Adore Me Amor" and used those lyrics for my card.
I covered the base of the artist trading card with patterned paper and then used the Creative Embellishments Hearts Stamp with gold pigment ink and clear embossing powder to add a second print to the background. I used Jane Davenport washi tape to create the face for the focal point of the card.
I added the song lyrics using Dymo tape, which I stapled to the card. I added a bright blue rhinestone heart to the cheek to finish the card.
What or who do you ADORE? Show us on your mini project! All mini project entries are now submitted via a linky tool on the More Than Words blog rather than the More Than Words Facebook Page. Share your work with us before the end of the month for your chance to win a prize from one of our amazing sponsors.
Due to the many Covid-related postage issues we had last year, MTW is running the prize-giving in a different way. We are now dividing prizes up into regions so some sponsors only need to post within their own regions. The regions are: Australia and New Zealand, Europe, USA, and The Rest of the World. For my fellow US residents, this means you are competing for prizes from a much smaller pool of artists!Supplies: Artist Trading Card Base; Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny; Washi Tape: Jane Davenport; Dymo Tape Label Maker; Pigment Ink: American Crafts; Embossing Powder: Clearsnap; Chalk Ink: Clearsnap; Heart Rhinestone; Staples; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; Song Lyrics: Color Me Badd
