Snow Day Scrapbook Layout - Clique International

Hi! I'm sharing my take on the Clique International February Sketch Challenge today. It seems like Winter is finally here. We've had plenty of snow in my area. We have managed to have a couple of snow days, but unfortunately, it doesn't get my kids off the hook with school assignments. While in person classes are canceled, they still have to complete all assignments via distance learning programs. Luckily, my niece and nephew shared photos of their snow day fun with me. Their gear is definitely on point, which I appreciated when pulling products for this page! I had fun using a lot of color, which mainly came from the Maker Forte Mixed Media Sampler Kit from Clique International.

The geometric print on this patterned paper remined me of snowflakes and it matched the color palette of my photos perfectly. I further embellished the paper with Studio Forty Chipboard Stars and iridescent chipboard asterisks from an alphabet set.

I embellished the top edge of this photo with iridescent rhinestone trim. This is a continuous strip of gems, so applying them to the page was fast and easy.

I created a title spot on the bottom half of the journaling paper. I selected iridescent chipboard letters and some felt snowflakes from my stash. I couldn't help but add one of the gorgeous Alison Glass Vinyl Stickers from the kit. The moth may not be a common winter embellishment, but I loved it too much to leave it off the page.
