Hi! I'm sharing the Coptic Bound Album I created after taking the Coptic Book Binding Class with Isa N.G. through Clique International. I've been wanting to learn this binding technique for a couple of years and Isa's self-paced video series was really the perfect introduction to this technique.
I picked up several Little Golden Books to use instead of wood or heavy chipboard for the book covers. This left me with only the binding to embellish. These colorful books really take me back to my childhood. I included the book pages in the signatures that I created with patterned paper, cardstock, and specialty papers.
I had a blast assembling this rainbow colored embellished binding. All the charms and buttons that are a bit too bulky for scrapbook pages are absolutely perfect for use here. I have 4 more Little Golden Books that I'm planning on altering into albums, so stay tuned for that blog post.
