Daddy Daycare Summer Scrapbook Layout - Clique International

 

Hi! I'm sharing a fun summer layout that I created for the July Challenge in The Clique Facebook Group. The challenge this month is to be inspired by one of the four elements; earth, air, fire, or water. All the kids during our family vacation literally became one with the earth while Dad was in charge! His methods may be unorthodox, but all the kiddos were present and accounted for at the end of the afternoon. The bright colors and bold patterns of the Vicki Boutin Color Study collection is perfect for documenting summer memories. 

The Vicki Boutin Color Study Add-On Kit has plenty of die-cuts and stickers that are great for building light layers on a layout.

The puffy stickers and layered flower embellishments are a fun way to add dimension to the page without a lot of extra bulk.

I used a starburst stencil with Distress Oxide Ink to add some detail to the large yellow circle in the center of the page. The rays were just what I was looking for on a sunny beach layout. I highlighted some of the printed plus signs on the patterned paper with a black marker.

I created a title spot using vellum and cardstock die-cuts and colorful letter stickers. I separated the layers with thin 3D Foam Squares.
