Follow Your Muse Halloween Tag - Creative Embellishments

 

Hi! I'm sharing the tag I created for the Creative Embellishments October Challenge. I feel like I wait for the October challenge all year. It's super fun to let my darker side out to play. The old stash portion of this challenge is so perfect for me. I've been saving this piece of patterned paper and printed overlay designed by Marah Johnson for Creative Imaginations for years. 

I stared with a Large Tag and then applied patterned paper and pieces of a printed overlay. 

I created a creepy scene using the Owl on Branch, several wood veneer bats from the Going Batty Set, and the individual skulls from the Skulls and Bones Set. 

I used a combination of dye ink, iridescent ink, and acrylic paint on the wood veneer and chipboard pieces to create a grungy finish. I can't wait to see what you create!
