Hi! I'm sharing a pair of Valentine's Day cards that I created with my oldest child for the Clique International February Mood Board Challenge. I love to mix prints, florals and stripes being one of my favorite combinations. I used some fantastic Maker Forte products for this project, and I absolutely love how these cards came together.
The Maker Forte Rosey Days 6x6 Paper Pack has two dozen pieces of patterned paper to choose from. I selected a black and white striped print for the base of each card. I fussy cut a bold floral design to layer over the top of the stripes.
I used the same design, but in an almost mirror image, for the hipster boy version of this card. I think they make a great pair!
The Maker Forte Hipster 6x8 Stamp Set contains so many super cute designs. Music is my love language, so I selected the hipsters who were rocking out to their favorite tunes for my cards. I stamped the hipsters onto white cardstock and then my oldest child colored them for me.
I cut the stamped images out and attached them to a felt doily, which I place on the edge of the card and then trimmed away the overhang. I topped each hipster with a sentiment sticker and acrylic heart.
