Mer Beach Vacation Scrapbook Layout - Clique International

 

Hi! I'm sharing a layout that features one of my favorite events from my summer vacation for Clique International today. My daughter and I took many walks around the beach looking for sea glass. (Maybe I should be calling it lake glass!) We were able to find every color of the rainbow to add to my daughter's growing collection. The nautical themes in the gorgeous A Contre Courant Sampler Kit, which features products from the French company Les Ateliers de Karine. I love the orange and navy color palette!

I built up layers using the vellum die-cuts and fussy cut designs from the patterned papers. I incorporated flowers and enamels dots from past kits into my design to add some texture and dimension.

I applied Pearl White Stencil Butter over a seashell stencil to add a touch of shimmer to the page.

There is a set of vellum stickers in the kit that features whimsical sea creatures like the striped fish I used above.

I cut the title letters from patterned paper and then finished the page with some handwritten journaling.
