Frida Kahlo MemoryDex Tray - Clique International

 

Hi! I'm sharing a fun and colorful project that I made for myself using kits from Clique International today. I needed a break from memory keeping and this tray of pretty cards really energized me! I used the amazing Tehuana Limited Edition Kit, which features the Frida Kahlo Viva la Vida paper collection from French Company Love in the Moon. I love the Frida imagery, colorful parrots, and the gorgeous tropical botanicals in this kit.

I cut flowers, leaves, butterflies, and birds from the patterned papers to add layers of different heights to my cards. I also used bits and pieces from the Birds of Paradise and Cannes Add-on Kits.

The Clique Chromatics Punk Rock Palette Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays were the perfect way to add color to the crocheted circle trim included in the kit.

The Dannagirl's Designs Teal Sparkle Texture Paste is fantastic! It spreads on smooth and dries with a flexible finish that is perfect for cards that will be handled frequently.

I created several interactive cards to record some of my favorite Frida Kahlo quotes.
