Hi! I'm sharing the envelope advent calendar that I created using the amazing Miracle on 34th Street Seasonal Kit for Clique International today. The Miracle on 34th Street is a HUGE seasonal base kit with a Mid-Century Modern vibe featuring the full Cookies for Kringle 12 x 12 paper collection by Fancy Pants Designs as well as some favorites from Simple Stories Mix & Mingle. The re-order of this kit, it already sold out once, began shipping last week, so if you haven't picked up this kit don't wait much longer!
The base of this project is a re-purposed Halloween countdown book that I purchased from Amazon. I used patterned papers from the kit and washi tape from my stash to cover the front and back covers. I embellished the bottom of the front cover with puffy letter stickers and a die-cut tag.
The real magic happens when the book is opened to reveal 25 embellished envelopes made from the patterned papers from the kit. Rather than create a December Daily album like I've done for the past several years, I decided to simplify things with a numbered envelope design.
I used both the front and back sides of every piece of patterned paper in the kit and I love the festive mix of prints! The envelopes are ready for whatever I want to tuck inside, like photos, memorabilia, and notes about the day.
The only item shown here that is not included in the kit are the round numbers. I punched them from a piece of patterned paper from my stash. I have quite of bit of patterned paper leftover after creating these envelopes and a ton of embellishments. This kit is packed with enough seasonal goodies to make several projects!
