Keep Groovin' Scrapbook Layout - Pretty Little Studio

Teen Scrapbook Layout with bright and colorful DIY punched circle background and sticker and die-cut embellishments.

Hi! I'm sharing a layout for Pretty Little Studio today that uses products from the bright and bold Color Me Happy collection and a ledger sheet from the Wildflowers collection. Ledger sheets are some of my favorite pieces of paper to use as the base of layouts because they are neutral, but not blank. There is something that intimidates me about a pure white background even after scrapbooking for nearly two decades!

To create the background, I used a card from the Be Cool Pocket Journaling Cards and my circle punches. The circles were already printed on the card. Using punches instead of scissors to cut the circles from the card ensured that the edges would be perfectly round. It also saved time. Once the circles were cut, I arranged them on the background of the layout in a random fashion.

The Keep Groovin' Starbright Word Sticker was a perfect title for this page featuring my husband and child sharing a pair of earbuds. My oldest child is listening to a lot of classical music and commented that their sister's soccer game was even more dramatic with an orchestral soundtrack.

Cut apart labels and vellum washi made a quick and colorful journaling spot under the photos.
