Hi! I'm sharing a beach themed scrapbook layout for Clique International today. It's almost time for my annual beach vacation at my family's cottage on Lake Huron. I look forward to this time all year and thought it would be fun to look back at the fun that I had during my last trip. This grid-style layout was super easy to put together using the Rainbow Sampler Kit. I simply cut out several rectangles from the patterned paper, backed the white space with photos, and then embellished.
An abbreviated puffy alphabet title fit perfectly across the bottom of a photo.
I created several embellishment clusters around the photos using a mix of vellum die-cuts, cardstock die-cuts, and stickers. Securing some elements to the page using foam adhesive added dimension.
Vacation time means that I have more time for my other hobbies, like baking. We picked the berries from a tree in the yard and baked them into a peach slab pie. Yum!
We always make at least one trip to our favorite souvenir store. We always find treasures there.
