Celestial Artist Trading Coin Shaker Set - Creative Embellishments

 

Hi! I'm sharing a set of celestial themed artist trading coin shakers for Creative Embellishments today. Any Artist Trading Coin design from the Creative Embellishments Shop can be converted into a shaker coin by simply adding a coin base, coin ring, and acrylic piece. I had a blast putting these coins together!

To begin, I covered three solid Artist Trading Coins with patterned paper. Then, I added a subtle print to the paper using the Distressed Patterns Stencil and Tea Dye Distress Ink.

Once the solid coins were covered and stenciled, I then colored three Artist Trading Coin Rings using a blue paint marker. Coloring the rings ensures that any part of the ring that is not covered by the top coin will show a solid color and not raw chipboard. I secured each painted ring to an altered coin base and then added blue glass glitter to the center of each coin before topping with an acrylic circle to seal the shaker.

I selected two Shape Artist Trading Coins and one Floral Coin and colored them with a gold paint marker. After securing a coin to each shaker piece, I embellished with sentiment stickers and a Mirrored Gold Acrylic Moon or Mirrored Gold Acrylic Star. Want to trade coins?
