Hi! I'm excited to share my first layout for Color Rush Studio. The Old Soul Color Club Collection Kit was just what I needed to document these old photos of my paternal grandparents on a fishing trip. These photos were taken before they had children during a summer stay at a cabin on the lake. I knew that my grandpa was an expert marksman and hunter. It looks like he can also catch quite a few fish.
Each Color Club Collection Kit includes at least three unique textures. I used several, but not all, on this page. I used the Sizzix Tag and Tie Die Set to cut three tags from patterned paper to use as photo mats. I added paint swatches, a number die-cut tag, a fussy cut brocade element, and a textured embellishment to each photo tag, separating some of the layers with 3D foam squares for dimension. The blue string, I used to connect all the tags on this layout, is from my stash.
My favorite embellishments from this kit are the
Brown Leather Hearts. They are so soft! I added a fourth tag to the layout and used it for some journaling.
The wood letter tiles were great to spell out a punny title across the top of the page.
Other Supplies: Blue String: Prima Marketing; Tea Dye Distress Ink: Ranger; Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink: Ranger; Tag Die: Sizzix; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
