Hi! I'm sharing a layout I created for Clique International today using the amazing Set Sail collection from Heidi Swapp. I grew up sailing with my family. This photo was taken while on vacation sometime during the early 90s. I definitely feel at home when close to the water.
I started this layout by cutting the Logo Cutapart patterned paper into squares. These small pieces of patterned paper became the base for embellishments, like die-cuts, stickers, and charms. I used pieces of 3D foam adhesive between the layers to add dimension to the page.
Once I had my embellished squares put together, I started attaching them to the page in horizonal columns. I made sure to use a variety of colors and shapes in each column and inserted flat stickers and tags throughout the page for contrast.
I finished the page with a small journaling spot and a gold foil die-cut title on the bottom right corner of the photo.
