Hi! I'm sharing an A6 envelope album for Color Rush Studio today. I used the new December Hello Gorgeous Main Color Kit, which features the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Love Story line and all the wonderful textured embellishments from Color Rush Studio that are included in the kits every month.
I wrapped a length of ribbon from the Basic Frazel and Ribbon Set around the envelopes to keep the album closed.
I used an A6 envelope template to create the envelopes from patterned paper included in the kit. The folded dimensions of each envelope are 4.75 inches by 6.5 inches, which uses almost an entire 12x12 piece of patterned paper to create. The album is made up of 5 envelopes which are joined together by fitting one envelope flap into the pocket of the previous envelope. I cut an additional 4x6 inch piece of patterned paper to cover an envelope flap that made the album binding and overlapped onto the back of the last envelope.
I decorated each envelope with fussy cuts, die-cuts, paper doilies, cork stickers, rhinestones, and metal keys. The variety of items in this kit is fantastic!
Each envelope has plenty of room to hold more ephemera, photos, and love notes.
