Crochet All Day Scrapbook Layout - Brutus Monroe

 

Hi! I'm sharing a scrapbook layout that I created for Brutus Monroe today. My daughter recently taught herself how to crochet, and the Crochet Florals Paper Pad was absolutely perfect to document her new hobby. She usually has a companion while she works, our Basset Hound Peach!

I used Aqua Pigment and Chroma Mist to create the watercolor rainbow background. The Daisy Die was a fun way to add large flowers to the layout. I spent some time cutting out the crochet floral designs from the patterned papers and then arranged them by color across the center of the page.

I wanted to add some stitched details, and because I can't crochet, I decided on some simple cross stitches.
