Now Showing A Cappella Scrapbook Layout - Brutus Monroe

 

Hi! I'm sharing a layout highlighting a recent a cappella performance by my oldest child for Brutus Monroe today. They feel right at home singing on center stage, and I love to watch them perform. I used items from the No Day But Today release, which is absolutely wonderful to document those on-stage events.

I used the Marquee Stamp and Die Set, the Marquee Sentiments Stamp Set, and the Theater Icons Stamp Set to create this photo topper and title for this page. I added a touch of bling with Topaz Flat Back Crystals.

I stamped a couple of tickets onto yellow cardstock and then layered them with Foam Easy Strips to create a dimensional embellishment for the corner of the photo. 

I added a chipboard film strip from my stash to this layout, which I colored with Mic Drop Embossing Powder and backed with a Sequin Sheet. I added a piece of Blinding Lights Washi Tape, a patterned paper star, and plenty of stenciled stars to the background of the page. These kids are definitely super stars to get on stage and do what they do. I used a bubble paint technique to add color to the background of the layout.
