Hi! I created this glow-in-the-dark shaker artist trading card, that really lights up my day, for Brutus Monroe. I love using acetate on my projects, but sometimes struggle to get a crisp image transfer when using stamps on the slick surface. I solved that problem by using Black Glue. I drew on a piece of acetate with black glue, that I put into a needle tip applicator bottle, using the stamp packaging as a guide.
Once dry, I applied Glow in the Dark Chroma Glaze and Sterling Shimmer Splash to the back side of the lightbulb. Applying mediums to the back side of the design allowed me to cover all of the lines without compromising the image on the front side of the acetate. Next, I created an artist trading card shaker base out of embossed cardstock, foam tape, and Glow in the Dark Shaker Fill, added the black glue acetate top sheet, and then wrapped the edges of the card with strips of Rubbings Washi Sheet.
I'm definitely going to use this technique and mediums for some spooky projects for Halloween, so be sure to come back here again soon!
