Hi! I'm sharing a scrapbook layout that I created for Brutus Monroe today. I used the Folk Art Day 22 Stencil from the September Stencilpalooza Event, which was a month-long celebration of limited-edition Brutus Monroe Stencils. Many of these designs are still in stock, so if you didn't follow along last month, there is still an opportunity to pick up most of the stencils!
This stencil design is a bit more modern than what I usually work with, but I think that is why I like it. I applied ink over the stencil onto a sheet of white cardstock. Then I stamped sheet music onto vellum and used various sizes of circle punches to cut the paper. I placed the stamped vellum over the circle designs on the stenciled paper.
I used circle templates to draw the half-circle pattern under the photo. I cut long strips of patterned paper and adhered them to the page on both sides of the stenciled design to help fill in some of the white space. I added a simple stamped sentiment to finish the page.
