Hi! I'm sharing a frosty scrapbook layout that I created for Brutus Monroe today. I took this photo back in 2016, when I was living in Virginia, and we were celebrating a snow day that lasted about 2 weeks. The snowfall measured nearly 2 feet, and Virginia is just not equipped to deal with that type of winter weather. This is my go-to winter memory because we haven't seen snow like that again even though I'm back in the mid-west.

I created the base of this layout using one of the NEW Washi Map templates from Brutus Monroe. This playful card marking guide features a map of creative locations to showcase your tape. (No more guessing where to put your washi!) This piece of cardstock is designed to be cut into 4 card panels, but what if you didn't cut them apart?! This is such a fun way to decorate the base of a scrapbook page. I want to do this again and again.

The background of this layout is very matte, so I wanted an embellishment that would add dimension and sparkle. I used a pair of chipboard mittens that I covered with a sticky glitter sheet and then embossed and dotted with flat back crystals. Talk about eye-catching!

There is a lot going on design-wise on this page, so I kept the title simple, using just a stamped sentiment directly on the photo.
