Winter Wings Cardinal Tag - Brutus Monroe

Hi! I'm playing along with the Brutus Monroe Monthly Challenge for January. The challenge this month is to use a tag on a project or to create a tag. There are several sizes of tags available from the Brutus Monroe Store as well as tag cutting die sets. I used my favorite, a Jumbo Mixed Media Tag, for this project which highlights the beautiful Winter Wings 6x6 Paper Pad.

I started this tag by coloring and hand stitching a piece of patterned paper cut with the Holly Pierce Cutting Die.

Next, I used imagery cut from the Winter Wings paper pad as well as die-cut greenery and snowflakes to design a frosty winter scene. I'm a tactile crafter, so I had a blast stacking up layers of fussy cut designs, die-cuts, and a burlap flower from my stash.

I added sparkling finishing touches using white gesso, Snow Paste, a Shimmering Snow Spray Pen, and Crystal Flat Back Crystals.

We'd love to have you join the Brutus Monroe CYOE Challenge!
