Hi! I modified one of Christopher’s fun fold card designs into a 5-signature mini album for Brutus Monroe. CLICK HERE for Christopher's fun fold card video tutorial. Each signature features prints from the Painted Florals and Playful Patterns paper pads, a 3x3 mini card for journaling, and a place for 3x5 photos. I used several Rainbow Portrait Creative Cards both inside the album and on the front cover. These paper products use all the colors and I'm loving the result!
I embellished the front cover with a piece of floral print patterned paper from the Painted Flowers 6x6 paper pad. I then topped that design with a girl from a Rainbow Portrait Creative Card that I cut out and embellished with more fussy cut flowers. I highlighted her sunglasses with a die-cut sun from the Ravishing Rainbow Cutting Dies Set, which I made sparkly with a coat of Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze.
The entire album is created with Brutus Monroe cardstock as the base, which is strong enough that I didn't feel the need to add any chipboard to the covers. I modified Christopher's fun fold design in two ways, both of which can be seen here. I adhered the four-fold front panels together to create two smaller pages that open to reveal a 3x3 card. The card opens and the center is filled with white cardstock for journaling. This is the second modification, using the 3x3 section as a 4-sided card rather than a 2-sided sentiment panel.
The Playful Patterns paper pad is a bright 5-color palette, so I used one of each sold print, that I arranged in rainbow order, to create a 5-signature album. I stitched the 3x3 mini cards into the larger card signatures, then stitched the signatures to a piece of cardstock to bind everything together. I covered the bound signatures with a piece of cardstock that I cut and scored to size.
