Hi! I created this whimsical scrapbook layout using the new I'll Be Gnome for Christmas release from Brutus Monroe. I snapped a photo of the garden gnome at our family lake house, which is my home away from home, for this layout.
I used stamps and cutting dies to build a scene for my page. I didn’t take my design too seriously, which is highlighted by the cheerful gnome hanging upside down from the top edge of the layout. I added die-cut circles from Glitterstock to the background and applied glitter to the gnome noses for a touch of sparkle.
I embellished the photo corner with die-cut flowers and leaves to mimic the flowers in the planter bed in the photo. I added a die-cut cloud to the background of the page, that I sprayed and inked with pastel yellows, greens, and golds.
I finished the page with some simple stamped sentiments.
