Hi! I created this interactive scrapbook layout using the Reveal Tag Cutting Die and Holiday Swirl Paper Pad from Brutus Monroe. Lift the tabs on the tags to try to find the family dog that is hiding amongst some very festive felines.
I started this layout by hot foiling a full Peppermint Party DuoFoil Washi Sheet. I think they make fantastic full-page prints for layouts. I then selected six pieces of patterned paper from the Holiday Swirl Paper Pad for use with the Reveal Tag Cutting Die.
I modified the die-cut tags for the purposes of this layout. I wanted tags that could lift up over and over, rather than a tear-away window. To achieve this, after cutting each tag, I applied a piece of tape to the back side of the top edge of the tag window to hold it in place. Next, I used scissors to carefully cut each tag window along the perforated lines.
I cut Festive Feline Creative Cards to fit inside 5 of the 6 tag windows, and one photograph of my brother's new dog. I applied a piece of Shattered Sparkle Overlay to each card or photo before securing them onto the back side of a tag.
It's super fun to lift the tag flaps to try to find the dog! I embellished the top of each tag with a small glitter bow that I found in my gift-wrapping stash. The holiday season is a great time to purchase small festive bows that are the perfect size for cards and layouts.
I used the Holly Jolly Vibes stencil to trace and cut a title for this layout from cardstock and personalized the center of each O for this pet themed page with stamped paw prints. For an extra pop of sparkle, I mounted the layout on a piece of silver glitter paper.
