Hi! The Wonderland collection from Brutus Monroe was just what I needed to create a journal to hold my collection of tea bag tags. Many brands of tea bags feature quotes on the tags, which are fun to read while sipping a hot cup of tea. This journal is a great way to document what I'm drinking, and after the construction of this mini book, requires almost no effort to keep up to date. I'm currently in my green tea era, but I do like to mix things up during the holiday season, which will be reflected in the pages of this journal.

I stamped and stenciled a cardstock cover and then added chipboard teacups, which I first painted and then applied floral print napkins and a layer of Glitter Glaze, to achieve a finish like porcelain. The signature of this journal is simple white paper that I folded in half and then stapled to the cover. If you don't have a long arm stapler in your stash, it really comes in handy for quick book binding.

I embellished the inside cover with paper-pieced roses. I used a stencil for the template and then cut the petals and stems by hand from red and green Glitterstock and Honeycrisp Chromatic Reserve Cardstock

The pages of this journal hold a collection of tea bag tags, which I add to after drinking a cup of tea.
