Hi! I flipped the Fish Bowl Cutting Dies on their head to create an astronaut helmet for the front of this space themed card for Brutus Monroe. I've been trying to come up with a creative use for the Fish Bowl Cutting Dies and I think I've managed to do it!
I used the largest fish bowl cutting die to cut a piece of pearlescent Holostock. Then, I used the second largest fish bowl die to cut a piece of Pearl Vellum. I used the inner decorative die to cut a piece of Pearlescent Holostock, keeping the pieces shown, a small curve and a small dot.
I used the stars and moon dies from the Spaced Cutting Die Set to cut a piece of Gilded Chunky Glitterstock, and kept the pieces shown. I used the smaller half planet die to cut two pieces of Pearlescent Holostock to be used on the sides of the helmet.
To assemble the helmet, glue the Pearl Vellum onto the piece of Pearlescent Holostock. Add the small Pearlescent curve and dot pieces to the top left edge of the helmet. Glue the helmet to the bottom center of the card. I used a piece of patterned paper from the Milky Way Paper Pad with a sheet of Starlight Sparkle Overlay on the top. Next, glue the remaining Pearlescent Holostock pieces to the sides of the helmet. I embellished the galaxy background with the stars and moon die-cuts.
Opening the card to reveals Theodore in his space suit and a pair of aliens wishing him a very happy first birthday.
